This is the area for alittle help from me. I am pretty good at keeping my computer on track, Thank God! I will share what I use to make my life easier to keep my computer clean of spyware,ad-aware, trojans and such, along with some extra stuff, if you don't mind. I hope this helps someone out there! I am not in any affiliate programs for these programs, these are what I actually use to keep my computer from crashing. Thanks.

These are all I really use besides my McAfee Virus Scanner
Once in a while I will use these programs-Also FREE for non-commercial use
Please use caution when downloading any file or program from any site-scan all files with your virus scanner for safety-I am not liable for any mishaps with any other computer besides mine.
This is the free program I use to make my Desktop Themes-very easy to use
I also Check to see if my computer needs to be defragmentized to fix errors-only if you need it. But, first you will have to analyze the computer to see if it does need to be defragmented. To do this go to Start-All Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Degragmenter-then click on Analyze at the bottom and go from there. It will tell you if you need it or not. I hope this helps you!
I am pretty much on the computer alot-and a few times my computer is slow when closing out a page-in other words when I X out of Internet Explorer it hangs and it closes out in about 30 seconds. What I found to work is that I need to clean out the Temporary Internet files folder. (I do have the "Empty Temporary Internet files" checked in the Control Panel System-Internet Options Advanced Aread but it still does need to be emptied manually on my computer sometimes.) To empty the Temporary internet files folder-go to Start-All Programs-Control Panel-Internet Options-go to the General tab-click on the browsing history delete button then click on the first "delete files" button ONLY which is "Temporary Internet files". Sometimes it takes awhile to delete them. Just let that go thru then press Close when finished then ok.
Tips:
I have a Windows XP Professional Home Edition Service Pack 2 Computer- I use to unzip the themes to my-Local disc-Windows-Resources-Themes folder-But most of the time, all I have to do when I open the zip file is Press Install and it will install to the themes folder (you will have to direct it to that folder sometimes) and most of the time it will also open the packed theme up with desktop architect so that you can apply it to be the theme on you desktop.
Unzip theme zip files to your Local disc (which is usually drive C:)-Windows-Resources-Themes folder. If you have Windows ME-unzip to Local disc-Windows-Programs Files-Plus Themes folder-If I remember correctly.
